In 1999, Garry Kasparov agreed to play a game of chess, via the Internet, against the rest of the world in consultation, with the World Team moves to be decided by majority vote. The host and promoter of the match was the MSN Gaming Zone. After nearly 60 moves and 4 months Kasparov won the game.
